TE CONNECTIVITY / POTTER & BRUMFIELD - T92S7D22-12 - POWER RELAY, DPST-NO, 12VDC, 30A, FLANGE 5 5 1 1
Standard Relay used in many hot tubs When this relay blew on my hot tub (it has three to control the heater, circulation pump and jet pump) the replacement from the "hot tub guys" was at least double the price @ Newark. March 5, 2015

Relay difference

Details:
What is the difference in t92p7d22-12 and -24? Is there a way to prevent relay failure or an easy way to tell if a relay has failed? Should all relays be changed if there is a confirmed 1 relay failure?

A:
T92P7D22-12 (#17M3087) has relay coil voltage of 12V
T92P7D22-24 (#17M3088) has relay coil voltage of 24V

Please consider T92S7D22-12 / T92S7D22-24 which is suggested replacement part for T92P7D22-12 / T92P7D22-24

Too much current can cause the coils to burn and result in failure of relay. Relays failures can be prevented by staying within the electrical parameters for which it was designed.
