Product Overview

The 58246-1 from TE Connectivity is a terminating head for MTA-100 receptacles. This terminating head is designed to terminate discrete wire in MTA-100 IDC closed end receptacles with lock (ramp) and polarizing tabs. The head must be installed in 58074-1 Pistol Grip manual handle assembly or 58075-1 Pistol Grip pneumatic handle assembly.
  • Serves as a guide and support for connector during termination
  • Adjuster (insertion rod)
  • Feed slide
  • Locating pawl (or anti-backup pawl)
