Hi. I would like to know what the axial load this device can take.
We are thinking of using this device to lift up and down a cantilever beam to which human subjects will apply bite force. We are thinking to have 250 N as the max force and the distance would be in the order of ~ 10 cm.
If this is not strong enough, then do you have any suggestions for other devices?
Also the we do have a design constraint in terms of a diameter of the step motor.
