SAMSUNG - RASPBERRY-PI / PROG-4GB-SDCARD - PRE PROGRAMMED, SD CARD, 4GB, FOR RASPBERRY PI 4.4 5 7 7
simple way to get started with the Rasp Pi great way to get a jump start into using the Rasp Pi system. so easy. February 27, 2015
sdcard for raspberry PI Excellent and super. One major problem we had during the setup process was that the microSD card slot lasted for three insertions and removals before a spring inside gave up the ghost and the card would no longer stay put. February 19, 2015
Worked like a charm. As close to plug and play as you can get. Plug it in. Power up your pi, and play January 16, 2015
works as advertised worked right out of the box. might want to update and upgrade after you get it though August 21, 2013
Debian SD Card I bought the device just for convenience. It is very easy to use and once installed in the Pi, it works. It would be more useful if it comes on an 8GB card with 6GB allocated to user partition. January 28, 2013

I want to use a wifi wireless dongle on my Raspberry Pi. My RPi has come pre-loaded with Debian Squeeze. Most specs on the dongles say that they are PnP with Raspian Wheeze OS. Does this mean that I have to change my OS?

A:
Raspbian is the hard-float optimised port of the Debian operating system for the Raspberry Pi. Raspbian makes use of the floating-point hardware in the processor at the heart of the Raspberry Pi, an optimisation whereas that the soft-float Debian Squeeze and Wheezy releases hadn’t been able to take advantage of this. This should provide significantly faster performance for applications that make heavy use of floating point arithmetic operations. So, in this case no need to change the OS of Raspberry Pi from Debian Squeeze in order to support Raspian Wheeze OS supported WiFi dongles.

It comes with preloaded OS for ready to use. You don't need to do any configuration. Debian 6.0 is currently pre-loaded on the SD cards and Debian always provides at least two versions of Python, the latest stable Python 2 release, and the latest stable Python 3 release.
