RASPBERRY-PI - RASPBERRY-MODB+-512M. - RASPBERRY PI MODEL B+ BOARD 4.6 5 25 26
A good learning tool. I`m new to linux. Linux is a super DOS. Very powerful. Lots to learn. Getting the gpio to work has been a challenge. I`m working on that. The shell program is nice. Over all this thing is a lot of fun. May 14, 2015

A:
There are a few major differences such as
. The number of GPIO headers is now 40 instead of 26 with full backward compatibility for the 1st 26 pins
. The composite video jack is now replaced with a 4 pole audio + video jack.
. The B+ has 4 USB ports supplying 1.2A to enable connecting more USB accessories at a time.
. The board also uses a micro SD card now instead of the full size SD card.
. The overall power consumption of the board is reduced approx between 0.5W to 1W.

A:
The most common chipsets are supported – that is the Prolific PL2303 and the FTDI. The PL2303 you would have the most work to get working. The FTDI do have the best documentation and specify it will work with the RPI. These will work with RS232 connected devices, though they will tend to default to the 9600,N,1 settings.

A:
You will need to update the image on your old microSD card in your old Rpi B and then try it on the B+. It may not work "as-is". If you have a microSD, then it will work with an update to the OS on the B+.

A:
If you look closely at the "standard" SD card, there is a micro card you can pull out which goes into the slot on the pi.

A:
Carefully inspect the bottom edge of the card you received. The Micro SD card comes with a “Standard SD to Micro SD” adapter card. The pair will come pre-assembled and will very closely resemble a standard SD card. You should be able to slide the Micro SD card out from the bottom edge of the adapter. If you did receive the wrong type of card, please contact our customer service and they will be able to assist.

A:
The B+ should be fully recursive. You will, however, need to copy your SD card image to a Micro SD as that is the B+'s new storage.

A:
If the software has been updated, and if it is on a micro-SD card then just plugging it into the B+ will see it boot, the newer Raspbian kernel is able to handle the new hardware.

As it is supplied, the positioning of the connectors means it won't sit properly on the B+. Use of an extender or a connection lead is needed.

HI,
I'd like to buy Raspberry Pi Model B+ (B PLUS) 512MB.
So I have few questions.
What is the country of origin or where is it made?
Do you ship this item to South Korea?
If you do, can I buy 300 pieces?
and also let me know the shipping charge.

In addition to that,
When you send them to me, how much will you register about the price on the invoice? That's very important to me because of the tariff.

I will wait your answer.
Thanks.
