Product Overview

The SNAP-AIRATE is an Analog Rate Input Module provides two channels of frequency-to-digital conversion at 0 to 25000Hz. 9V through a 4.7kΩ pull-up resistor are provided internally for use with device that has open collector outputs. The module works with TTL, CMOS and open collector outputs and is ideally suited for use with a tachometer. The part of the SNAP PAC System, the module mounts on a SNAP PAC rack with a SNAP PAC brain or rack-mounted controller. Analog, digital and serial I/O modules can all be on the same rack. Such an I/O unit is also well suited for PC-based control or for use as intelligent remote I/O for an Allen-Bradley RSLogix PLC system, such as ControlLogix, MicroLogix or CompactLogix.
