Product Overview

The OP290A is a Plastic Infrared LED with dome lens. The OP290 series gallium aluminium arsenide infrared LED that is moulded in an IR-transmissive package with a wavelength centred at 890 nm, which closely matches the spectral response of silicon phototransistors. The forward current is specified under pulse conditions up to 1.5A.
  • Higher power output than GaAs at equivalent LEDs
