Product Overview

The 1N4001G is an axial-leaded standard Recovery Rectifier with an epoxy molded case, all external surfaces corrosion-resistant and terminal lead is readily solderable finish. The diffused junction rectifier is suitable for general purpose and low-power applications.
  • Cathode indicated by polarity band
  • 60V Non-repetitive peak reverse voltage
  • 35V RMS reverse voltage

forward voltage

I am designing an indication board. With the lamp test push button, I want to be able to bus together all of the positive leads on the downstream side of the diodes. Therefore when voltage is applied, all of the LEDS will light at the same moment, but, does not short the lights together in a normal operating mode. Can I place this diode in a circuit with 5VCD, or is that too much voltage? there will be 0.03A also. Maybe I don't understand the forward voltage concept. Thanks.
