I previously sent a question regarding the tool UW-093R, but this was the wrong tool as I see it is only for unwrapping.

The tool I am interested in is WSU-30M, but had a question. Will it also work on 28 AWG? If not, do you have a wire wrap tool that works with 28 AWG?

For 28 awg we would not recommend the WSU-30M as this tool is for 30 gauge wire. 30 gauge wire is smaller than 28 gauge wire, so the hole in the WSU-30M would not be able to accommodate the size. The customer has a better chance with the WSU-26M, as the 28 gauge wire will fit in the hole of this tool, though it's not guaranteed the tool will create a proper wrap with 28 AWG wire. The WSU-26M also does not have a stripping blade for 28 AWG.

For a 28 AWG hand tool we recommend the HW-UW-2829M (Newark code 18C3951)
