Product Overview

The NTE3103 is an Interrupter Module with gallium arsenide infrared emitting diode coupled to a silicon Darlington connected phototransistor in a plastic housing. The gap in the housing provides a means of interrupting the signal with an opaque material, switching the output from an “ON” into an “OFF” state.
