Product Overview

The UEI15-050-Q12P-C is a 1-output board-mount isolated DC to DC Converter ideal for battery powered and telecom equipment offers efficient regulated DC power for printed circuit board mounting. The UEI 15W series 15W DC/DC converter includes full magnetic and optical isolation up to 2250VDC (basic insulation). For connection to digital systems, the outputs offer fast settling to current step loads and tolerance of higher capacitive loads. Excellent ripple and noise specifications assure compatibility to circuits using CPU's, ASIC's, programmable logic and FPGA's. For systems requiring controlled start-up/shutdown, an external switch, transistor or digital logic may be used to activate the remote on/off control. A wealth of self-protection features avoids both converter and external circuit problems.

A: 
According to datasheet, this DC-DC converter is not internally fused. A fast acting fuse with 4A current ratings should be connected to input terminals of DC-DC converter. So suggested part number of fuse is TR2/6125FF4-R from Cooper Bussmann.
