Product Overview

The PIC24FJ64GA004-I/PT is a 16-bit 64kB general purpose Flash Microcontroller with a broad peripheral feature set and enhanced computational performance. The PIC24FJ64GA004 family offers a new migration option for those high-performance applications which may be outgrowing their 8-bit platforms, but don't require the numerical processing power of a digital signal processor. The PIC24FJ64GA004 family incorporates a range of serial communication peripherals to handle a range of application requirements. The PIC24FJ64GA004 family of devices contains internal Flash program memory for storing and executing application code. The memory is readable, writable and erasable when operating with VDD over 2.25V.
  • CPU - Up to 16 MIPS performance, 16 x 16 hardware multiply and single cycle execution
  • System - On-chip LDO voltage regulator, JTAG boundary scan and flash memory program support
  • nanoWatt power managed modes - Run, idle and sleep modes
  • Analogue - 10-bit ADC, 16 channels and 500kSPS
  • Peripherals - 2 UART modules with LIN and IrDA® support, 4 deep FIFO, five 16-bit timer modules
  • Fail-safe clock monitor (FSCM) operation - Detects clock failure and switches to on-chip
  • On-chip, 2.5V regulator with tracking mode
  • Power-on reset (POR), power-up timer (PWRT) and oscillator start-up timer (OST)
  • Flexible watchdog timer (WDT) with on-chip, low-power RC oscillator for reliable operation
  • JTAG boundary scan support
