Product Overview

The MA330020 Plug In Module is small circuit board used with the Explorer 16 Development Board and the PICtail Plus daughter boards to evaluate dsPIC33FJ16GS504 MCU. The dsPIC33FJ16GS504 is a high performance 16bit Digital Signal Controller within a small 44 pin QFN package. The dsPIC33FJ16GS504 is equipped with Peripheral Pin Select (PPS), the PIM takes advantage of the PPS by using zero ohm resistors to connect the I/O to the 100 pin Explorer 16 Development Board. These plug into the main processor socket of the development boards so that different microcontrollers can be used for prototyping, demonstration or development quickly and easily.

  • I2C module (up to 1 Mbaud) with SMBus support
  • PPS to allow function remap
