Product Overview

The LTM8023EV#PBF is a 2A 36V step-down DC/DC µModule (Power Module) Regulator with switching controller, power switches, inductor and all support components. It can deliver up to 2A of DC output current with only bulk external input and output capacitors. This module provides a precisely regulated output voltage programmable via one external resistor from 0.8 to 10VDC. Only the bulk input and output filter capacitors are needed to finish the design. The LTM8022 uses a constant frequency PWM architecture that can be programmed to switch from 200kHz to 2.4MHz by using a resistor tied from the RT pin to ground. It is a step-down converter, so a minimum amount of headroom is required to keep the output in regulation. In addition, the input voltage required to turn on is higher than that required to run and depends upon whether the RUN/SS is used.
