Product Overview

DC979A demonstration board is for evaluation of LTC2442 ADC. It is an ultra high precision, variable speed, 24bit Delta Sigma ADC with integrated amplifier. The amplifier can be configured as a buffer for easy input drive of high impedance sensors. It incorporates rail to rail buffer amplifiers for true high impedance inputs. The proprietary delta sigma architecture ensures stable DC accuracy through continuous transparent calibration. Ten speed/resolution combinations can be selected with no latency or shift in DC accuracy. While operating in the 1X speed mode the first conversion following a new speed/resolution or channel selection is valid. Additionally, a 2X speed mode can be selected enabling output rates. It is designed to allow easy evaluation of the LTC2442 and may be connected directly to the target application's analog signals while using the DC590 USB Serial Controller board and supplied software to measure performance.
