Easy to use modular stepper driver The R208-RO translates digital signals into drive signals for bipolar stepper motors. It has good functionality - up to 8X microstepping, enable control, up to 2A drive current, variable hold current - and comes with pigtailed connectors for prototyping or end use. It delivers good value. We have been using them for years, which is more convenient now that they are available from Newark. The only knock on them is that occasionally one fails for no good reason, which explains the 4 star rating. May 5, 2015

I have a 4 axis CNC controller for a desktop mill that uses the IB462 driver and the A axis has gone out on me. I have confirmed this by swapping the X axis driver for the A axis and then the A axis works and the X axis doesn't. I can't find a IB462 anywhere as the manufacturer describes them as obsolete and discontinued. I'm looking for a substitution that I can wire in it's place. Would this driver be appropriate? Can I get a wiring schematic that I can compare to the IB462? Thanks for your help and any suggestions you may be able to offer.
