My application requires a solenoid to deliver about 5 pound force (or more)upon an impulse activation to change a gear. I would like about .375" push. I want to use "c" or "d" cell battery. I do not need a special shaft detail. The shaft can be blunt with no connector detail. I like tubular design, if possible. Please advise. My customer will not allow me to give more detail.
My design and prototyping is now. Thank you.
