LTS6-0-2 is a serial-to-analogue DIN rail transmitter. The Laureate LTS6 serial input to analogue output transmitter accepts RS-232 or RS-485 serial data with the Modbus or Laurel ASCII protocol or direct ASCII characters and converts this data to an isolated, scalable 4-20mA, 0-20mA or 0-10V analogue output signal. The unit fits on a 35mm DIN rail and is only 22.5mm (0.89") thick. It is normally powered by AC (85-264Vac), but can optionally be powered by low voltage AC or DC. All electrical connections are via detachable screw-clamp plugs. When not using the Modbus protocol, The Laureate serial-to-analogue transmitter is able to retrieve digital data from long character strings. User can specify character positions like start and stop ASCII characters, How many characters to skip and how many characters to process. Slave operation requires connection to a master.
