JST (JAPAN SOLDERLESS TERMINALS) - SPH-002T-P0.5S - CONTACT, CRIMP, SOCKET, 30-24AWG, CRIMP 5 5 1 1
Easy way to get the JST Connector you want Rather than buying pre-made JST cables, I have started buying these crimping connectors. I had some experience crimping the 0.1" connectors and found these to be very easy to use as well. Only issue is that you need to make sure the crimp that holds the shielding is tight or you will have trouble inserting it into the plastic housing. I usually just give that crimp an extra squeeze with needle nose pliers to make sure it is tight. Saves big $ - $0.95 for a pre-crimped 2 conductor 6" wire versus $0.20 if you make it yourself. I've had problems with wire breaking off just behind the crimp and troubleshooting to determine root cause. Thanks

I used it with 22 AWG but 20-22 is ideal. Need to get the crimp on the shielding tight or you can't insert it easily into the plastic header.
