Discounts and Special Pricing
How is the "You Saved" value calculated? What do the icons next to the list price represent? As a newark.com customer, you can save money off the List Price of an item three ways, which are noted in your shopping cart by different icons appearing to the right of the item price.
If an item is eligible for two or more types of discounts, the lowest price will always be displayed. The "You Saved" value is simply the total amount saved as a result of any discounted items in your Shopping Cart. Do I get the promotional price when I purchase online? The prices you find on the Newark website do reflect when products are on sale or promotion. You can compare the prices you see on the website with the promotion flyer to ensure you are getting the correct prices. There are a few products, however, that we cannot discount because of franchise agreements with the manufacturer. The promotional price will not be applied to those products. You'll only see the standard price. Discounts cannot be stacked. If you are receiving a promotional discount you will not get other discounts such as corporate service agreement or website specific discounts. Different discounts take precedence depending on your company's agreement with Newark. How do I receive a special quote for a large order? For orders larger than standard three-column pricing, you can request a special quote by contacting your Newark sales representative at 1-800-4-NEWARK (1-800-463-9275). Do you have volume pricing?Yes. Click on the item price to find out how much you can save by ordering in greater quantities. How do I use my voucher code to receive a discount? In the shopping cart, enter the code in the Voucher Code field and click "Apply Voucher Code." Please note that voucher codes are case sensitive. You'll see discounted prices for all applicable items in the Price column. NOTE: Voucher code discount applies to the first price-break quantity only. Discount cannot be combined with other offers, promotions, quantity discounts, or contract pricing. Contractual considerations with a small number of manufacturers may reduce or prevent a voucher discount on selected items; email websupport@newark.com with questions relating to voucher exclusions. Special order items are not subject to a voucher discount. How do I view my service agreement price? To view pricing based on your service agreement, you must be a registered customer and be logged in. Your agreement price is displayed in the search result and in the shopping cart.
