When requesting a quote from a Newark representative, a customer can now ask for an eQuote. The customer then receives an email with a link to a detailed quote, complete with part numbers, manufacturer names, descriptions, quantity quoted, expiration date, line item status, prices and extended prices. To add products directly to a shopping cart, the customer need only check a box next to the line item, and then continue through check out.
Customers can also add items not on the quote to the same shopping cart.

Other online tools available under Newark's eSuite enable customers to track current orders and to recall their complete order history for the previous 13 months, regardless of whether the orders were placed online, by the phone, email or fax. More eSuite tools will be added in the near future.
