Newark Names Barry Litwin Senior VP, Marketing

CHICAGO-NOVEMBER 8, 2007 — Newark (www.newark.com), part of the global Premier Farnell Group, and a leading multi-channel, high-service electronics distributor supporting millions of engineers and purchasing professionals across the Americas, is pleased to announce it has recruited Barry Litwin as Senior Vice-President, Marketing. In this role, Mr. Litwin will lead all multi-channel marketing and e-commerce activities.

Mr. Litwin has an extensive background in B2B multi-channel distribution. Most recently, as Vice-President & General Manager for cash handling and security products manufacturer and distributor Block & Company, Inc, he led strategic and organizational changes that paved the way for the implementation of a robust, multi-channel initiative, which accelerated sales and profit performance. He has also served as Vice-President, Sales and Marketing at Labelmaster, a leading multi-channel distributor of hazardous material compliance products, and ran the mail order business unit for Fannie May Candies.

Mr. Litwin obtained his MBA from Loyola University of Chicago with a concentration in Operations Management, and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Indiana University.
