Newark Sweeps NEDA Channel Marketing Awards for Second Year
Electronics distributor garners 24 Gold & Platinum Awards plus first �Best in Show�
CHICAGO-NOVEMBER 6, 2007 — Newark (www.newark.com), part of the global Premier Farnell Group, and a leading multi-channel, high-service electronics distributor supporting millions of engineers and purchasing professionals across the Americas, is pleased to announce that it has received 25 Channel Marketing Awards from the National Electronic Distributors Association (NEDA) based on the creativity and effectiveness of its marketing communications, sweeping the competition's 11 categories.
NEDA also awarded its first “Best in Show” award to Newark in recognition of its achievements.
The awards were presented at the 2007 NEDA Executive Conference in Chicago on November 5. Newark received 7 Platinum Excellence Awards for image advertising, integrated marketing campaigns and a corporate newsletter directed to design engineers.
17 Gold Achievements awards were also captured in these and other categories, including Company Web Site.
All of Newark's marketing communications are developed and created in-house. Over the last five years Newark has received a total of 57 Channel Marketing Awards.
