Tektronix and Fluke�s new design and manufacturing test kits distributed exclusively through Newark
CHICAGO-AUGUST 23, 2007 — Newark, part of the global Premier Farnell Group, and a leading multi-channel, high-service electronics distributor supporting millions of engineers and purchasing professionals across the Americas, is pleased to announce that it is introducing four exclusive Fluke/Tektronix test kits on its website at www.newark.com to provide comprehensive solutions for common design engineering and manufacturing applications.

The Electronic Benchtop kit, for example, features two high-end instruments to aid in design and to measure operational parameters: a Fluke 8845A benchtop digital multimeter and a Tektronix DPO 4054 oscilloscope. The three manufacturing kits address power quality, air quality and general test issues.
The kits are priced 5% less than the cost of buying the test equipment individually, and
each kit offers customized application notes on how to use the equipment most efficiently.
