First electronics distributor to provide pre- and post-sale calibration services
CHICAGO (July 12, 2005) — Newark, the leading small-quantity distributor of electronic components and test equipment in North America and a subsidiary of global Premier Farnell plc, has purchased the assets of R&R Instrumentation and transferred all of its business and employees to a new division named Newark Services. R&R is a regional distributor of test equipment and panel instruments headquartered in Denver, Colorado, with complete calibration labs in the Denver, Phoenix and Nashville areas.
