CHICAGO (August 17, 2004) — Newark, announced today that it has renewed its long-standing relationship with circuit protection market leader Littelfuse Inc. to distribute its full line, including products from recently acquired Teccor Electronics. A subsidiary of global distributor Premier Farnell plc (NYSE:PFP, LDE:pfl) and the leading small-quantity distributor of electronic components and test equipment in North America, Newark now offers design engineers a much deeper selection of overvoltage protection products and all seven circuit protection technologies.
In addition to its extensive fuse inventory, Newark will stock Teccor's most popular power thyristors, TVS diodes, SIDACtors, DIACs, diodes/rectifiers, SCRs, TRIACs, plus newly released products. The distributor will also stock for specific customer requirements.
