Product Overview

The DSEP2X31-12A is a 60A HiPerFRED™ Epitaxial Diode with soft recovery. It is used as an anti-parallel diode for high frequency switching devices, as an anti-saturation diode, as a Snubber diode, freewheeling diode in converters and motor control circuits, rectifiers in switch mode power supplies (SMPS), inductive heating, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and ultrasonic cleaners and welders.

  • Planar passivated chips
  • Very short recovery time
  • Extremely low switching losses
  • Avalanche voltage rated for reliable operation
  • Soft reverse recovery for low EMI/RFI
  • Low IRM reduces - Power dissipation within the diode
  • Low IRM reduces - Turn-on loss in the commutating switch
  • 2 Independent FRED in 1 package
