Sensors & Transducers - Humidity Sensors
Humidity sensors measure and regularly report the relative humidity in the air. Also known as hygrometers, the most common type is used for capacitive measurement which is a system that relies on electrical capacitance, or the ability of two nearby electrical conductors to create an electrical field between them. Humidity sensors have applications in refrigeration, drying, meteorology, and battery powered systems, and can offer analog or digital output with gas and liquid sensors available.
