Product Overview

The SE5470-003 is an aluminium gallium arsenide Infrared Emitting Diode mounted in a metal can package. It has glass lensed cans providing a narrow beam angle. This device typically exhibit 70% greater power output than gallium arsenide devices at the same forward current. The package offers high power dissipation capability and is ideally suited for operation in hostile environments. It is mechanically and spectrally matched to SD5421 photodiode, SD5443/5491 phototransistor, SD5410 photodarlington and SD5600 series Schmitt trigger.

  • Ideal for high pulsed current applications
