Product Overview

The HMC1021S is a 2-axis surface mount Magnetic Sensor designed for low field magnetic sensing. By adding supporting signal processing or compassing solutions are enabled. This is easy to assemble for high volume OEM designs. Applications for the HMC100x include compassing, navigation systems, magnetometry and current sensing. The HMC100x sensor utilize Honeywell's Anisotropic Magnetoresistive (AMR) technology that provides advantages over coil based magnetic sensor. It is extremely sensitive and low field sensor is designed to measure direction and magnitude of Earths magnetic fields from tens of micro-gauss to 6 gauss. Honeywell's Magnetic sensor is among the most sensitive and reliable low-field sensors in the industry.
