Product Overview


The TWR-MECH is a mechatronics tower system Module. It is an easy to use mechatronics development and demonstration platform. The tower system mechatronic module has a three axis accelerometer, three axis magnetometer and a twelve channel touch sensor. It is programmable in C/C++ using CodeWarrior and an onboard OSBDM flash programming tool. For fast prototyping or for individuals without C/C++ experience, the module is supported by stick OS. The robot (FSLBOT) kit operates with the tower mechatronics module to create an easy to use mechatronics development and demonstration platform. It is designed specifically to be used and programmed with stick OS BASIC. More advanced users can take programming to new levels of functionality with the use of CodeWarrior and tower system.

Description:
The TWR-MECH is a Mechatronics board, It can be demonstrated with Freescale robot kit (FSLBOT) to create an easy to use Mechatronics development and demonstration platform. The tower system Mechatronics board has a 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis magnetometer and a 12 channel touch sensor. It is programmable in C/C++ using CodeWarrior and an on-board OSBDM flash programming tool. For fast prototyping or for individuals without C/C++ experience, the board is supported by StickOS BASIC. The tower system Mechatronics board combines 32bit computing, sensors, actuator control and wireless into a single stand-alone board with an on-board battery supply. The tower system Mechatronics board has a 32bit ColdFire microcontroller with 64K of RAM, 512K of flash and supports the full range of Freescale Xtrinsic sensors via plug-in daughter boards. The board can directly control up to eight actuators (PWM-controlled RC servos) via the eight industry standard 3-pin connectors.
