FLUKE - FLUKE-435-II - POWER ANALYZER, 3 PHASE, 430 SERIES II 4 5 3 3
Must account for theft As the price of these power analyzer's keeps escalating I am compelled to write Fluke about the possibility of theft and possible solutions to that problem. I do not own one of these units yet but was trying to purchase one for the purpose of providing a service to customers that have many remote locations. The thought of taking a meter that costs upwards of $8000 and leaving it for 5 to 7 days recording in some remote location without some way of knowing it's still there is of great concern. I think Fluke should come up with a two piece unit, the first piece with all the leads being just a box with nothing but leads coming out and lots of communication capabilities so it can communicate to the real meter which is in a secure location or remote. Over the internet data sending would certainly solve the problem, you might even have several on at the same time. it is for this reason that I will not consider such an expensive meter but will have to go to something less still hoping it will still be there when you go back to collect the data. A:
Suggested part number of AC current clamp which can be used with this multimeter is I-1000S from Fluke. It is a battery powered Hall-effect probe which extends the current measuring range of multimeter upto 1000A.
