FLUKE - FLUKE-179-EFSP CAL D - MULTIMETER, DIGITAL, HANDHELD 4.9 5 35 35
Amazing... When i was young I could not afford a Fluke DMM but 30 years later I bought my first Fluke (179) and could not be happier! I use it for my hobby and every time I work with the Fluke I enjoy it so much... September 28, 2013
Fluke 179 A good meter to be sure but only four star from me as it's so slow to come up with a voltage reading. Put it on a known 240 or 400 volt supply and it's "umm errr....pause.... okay 230 volts it is". Just drives me nuts when I'm in a hurry on a breakdown. Probably about half the speed of my old TES meter. September 6, 2013

Finally upgraded After years of reliable service (almost 20) my Fluke 73 had to be replaced (Forklift casualty) My number one upgrade option was I wanted a background display light, I didn't have a need to upgrade to the 87 series, so I went with the 179 kit, I could not be more satisfied with my choice. When I first got into the maintenance field I learned my electrical troubleshooting with Fluke meters and haven't looked at any others. Along with my 374 clamp on I use these everyday without any issues. August 15, 2013
