Product Overview

The CRD-001 is a universal gate driver evaluation board for all C2M SiC MOSFETs. This board is suitable for evaluating IXDN609SI SiC MOSFET. The circuit consists of two isolated DC to DC converters, optoisolator and gate driver integrated onboard. The Clare/IXYS IXDN609SI can provide 35V output swing and withstand up to 9A of current with a typical output resistance of 0.8ohm. The optoisolator from Avago ACPL-4800-300E has high common mode transient immunity (30kV/usec) and can operate from 4.5 to 20V. The circuit can be modified to work with either isolated or non isolated configuration depending on the application.

  • Compatible with 1W and 2W DC to DC converters
