Product Overview


The MP101401 is a digital hall effect magnetic Proximity Sensor in low-profile flange-mount housing. The MP1 series is an one-piece non-contact solid-state position sensor that operate through the use of Hall Effect technology with magnetic fields generated by permanent magnets. They provide a sinking current output. The sensor is encapsulated in glass-reinforced nylon plastic housing.

Flexible Hall Effect sensor with thin profile and easy mounting... We wanted a sensor that took very little space while still allowing us to mount the sensor to a flat surface. The 12" leads and mounting tabs worked out perfectly, making this the ideal packaged sensor for our project. The sensors are part of a multiple input power balancing interpretive exhibit where there are 5 multi-position switches to monitor. The sensors wide range of operating voltage and open-collector outputs interface to our microprocessor controller with ease. October 28, 2014
