Product Overview

The ACPL-214-500E from Avago is a surface mount AC input single channel half pitch phototransistor optocoupler in 4 pin SO package. Optocoupler contains 2 light emitting diodes connected inversely parallel and optically coupled to a phototransistor. This optocoupler is widely used at I/O interface for programmable controllers, computers, sequence controllers and system appliances.
  • Current transfer ratio CTR of 20% (min) at IF = ±5mA, VCC = 5V
  • High input-output isolation voltage of VISO = 3000Vrms
  • Non saturated response time (tr) is 2µs(typ) at VCC = 10V, IC = 2mA and RL= 100 ohm
  • CMR of 10KV/μs (typical)
  • CSA, UL and IEC/EN/DIN EN 60747-5-2 approved
  • Forward current If of ±50mA
  • Isolation voltage of 3KV
