Product Overview

The Atmel ATTINY45-20PU is a high performance and low power AVR 8-bit microcontroller with 4K bytes of in-system programmable flash, alongside 256 bytes of EEPROM and 256 bytes of SRAM. The device is manufactured using Atmel’s high density non-volatile memory technology. The on-chip ISP flash allows the program memory to be re-programmed in-system through an SPI serial interface, by a conventional non-volatile memory programmer or by an on-chip boot code running on the AVR core.

Great little chip using this chip for i2c slaves. Works great with minimal external hardware. March 3, 2015
Tiny is Good! ATtiny processors can do so much with so little. Bought these to control fan cooling a power supply. Ram up speed based on internal temperature. Parts count - 1 thermistor, 2 resistors, ATtiny45, 2n7000 mosfet transistor and 60mm 12V fan. A few lines of code to read the thermistor, convert reading to PWM output to set fan speed. all fits on a chunk of vector board. February 6, 2015
