Product Overview

ATSAM4S-WPIR-RD is a reference design kit based on SAM4S16C device. It introduces the application of Passive Infrared Motion Detector Camera. The enabling microcontroller is the SAM4S Cortex-M4 processor based microcontroller. SAM4S series is a family of Flash microcontrollers based on the high performance 32bit ARM Cortex-M4 RISC processor. The SAM4S device is a medium range general purpose microcontroller with the best ratio in terms of reduced power consumption, processing power and peripheral set. The SAM4S features an External Bus Interface (EBI) that permits interfacing to a broad range of external memories and virtually to any parallel peripheral.
  • SAM4S16 device in a LQFP100 package
  • 12MHz crystal for internal clock and 32.768KHz crystal for RTC clock
  • Power on reset and JTAG reset from an in circuit emulator
  • JTAG/ICE connector
  • CMOS image sensor OV7740
  • PIR sensor (RE200B)
  • 10 pin male connector for ZigBee module
