Product Overview

The ATMEGA32U4-MU is a high performance, low power 8bit AVR RISC based microcontroller in 44 pin VQFN package. This device achieves throughputs approaching 1MIPS per MHz by executing powerful instructions in a single clock cycle. This allows system designer to optimize power consumption versus processing speed. The device has 32 general purpose working registers, four flexible timer/counters with compare modes and PWM, high speed timer/counter with compare modes and PLL adjustable source, 12 channels 10bit ADC with optional differential input stage, on-chip calibrated temperature sensor and programmable watchdog timer with internal oscillator.
