Customer Reviews

ATMEL - ATAVRISP2 - IN SYSTEM PROGRAMMER, USB, 8BIT AVR 4.7 5 3 3
Solid, stable ICP The AVRISPMKII is a nice, well made, inexpensive and very reliable in circuit programmer. Granted, it's not an in-circuit emulator, debugger and kitchen sink, but if you need to program small device production runs or are a serious hobbyist that writes, programs, re-writes and re-programs code day in and day out, this nice little ISP is for you. You can make your own programmer with any AVR chip and a dash of code, but getting it to work, work right and reliably program all AVR devices isn't as easy as it seems. The Atmel MKII "just works". Why mess with a home made programmer? Time is better spent designing and building projects, not programmers. March 2, 2015
