Product Overview

The ADUM1285 series dual-channel Digital Isolator based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. It combines high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technology. It provides outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives, such as optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers. With propagation delay at 20ns, pulse width distortion is less than 2ns for C grade. Channel-to-channel matching is tight at 5ns for C grade. The two channels of the independent isolation channels and are available in two channel configurations with three different data rates up to 100Mbps. Industrial grade models operate with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 3 to 5.5V and the automotive grades operate from 3 to 5.5V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling a voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier.
