Product Overview

The ADP1051DC1-EVALZ is a daughter card for ADP1051 digital controller for isolated power supply with PMBus interface. The ADP1051 is an advanced digital controller with a PMBus interface targeting high density, high efficiency DC to DC power conversion. The ADP1051-240-EVALZ evaluation board, together with a ADP1051DC1-EVALZ daughter card, allows the user to evaluate the ADP1051 in a power supply unit (PSU) environment. The boards are fully compatible with the ADP1051 GUI software. The daughter card provides the signals that are used to regulate the output voltage, limit the output current and control the on/off switch of the evaluation board. A four pin connector (J2) on the daughter card is used for I2C/PMBus communication through a USB to I2C connector. This allows the GUI software to communicate with the evaluation board through the USB port of the PC.
