Product Overview

The ADM211EARSZ is a robust RS-232 and V.28 Line Driver/Receiver operates from a single 5V power supply. The interface device is suitable for operation in harsh electrical environments and is compliant with the EU directive on electromagnetic compatibility. The level of emissions and immunity are both in compliance. EM immunity includes ESD protection in excess of ±15kV on all I/O lines, fast transient burst protection and radiated immunity. EM emissions include radiated and conducted emissions as required by Information Technology Equipment EN 55022, CISPR 22. The device fully conforms to the EIA-232-E and CCITT V.28 specifications and operates at data rates up to 230kbps.
