Product Overview

The 31-5800 is a RF Connector, BNC series, BNC straight Crimp Plug with gold-plated brass contacts and crimp contact termination. Body made up of zinc die-cast with nickel-plated finish and TPX insulator. The BNC is a bayonet style connector allowing for quick connect and disconnect with a positive locking mechanism. Mating is achieved with just a quarter turn of the coupling nut. The 50ohm BNC connector is miniature, lightweight units useable up to 11GHz and typically yield low reflection through 4GHz. Designed to accommodate a large variety of RG and industry standard cables. This RF connector is designed for Belden 88240, Belden 89907, RG-122 and RG-58 plenum/thinnet cable.

According to datasheet, this plug can be crimped onto RG58/U or RG141/U coaxial cables. Suggested part number of coaxial cable is 9223 010100 from Belden.
