Answers

A: 
As per supplier reply, The adapter is only rated to -65C so it cannot be assured tol work at 20K (-253C). Most likely it will continue to function in the application because it has no dynamic features like female contacts or coupling mechanisms. The Dielectric is PTFE which has a tendency to shrink quite a bit at very low temperatures.
