The 416601U00000G from Aavid Thermalloy is Hi-Contact liquid cold plate. This cold plate is designed for engineers seeking a cost effective solution for medium power density applications. The 416601U00000G feature a interlocking groove and tube geometry that improves mechanical robustness and thermal performance over conventional designs. Tube directly contacts the base of the device cooled improving thermal resistance. Thin epoxy joint between tube and plate outperforms ‘dry’ joints.

Outstanding thermal performance These have excellent thermal performance, these are our go-to cold plates when we absolutely have to remove a lot of heat in a small amount of space. For best performance, make sure you use the side WITH the pipes, not the far side, and a thermal interface material. October 7, 2011
